Sylvia Kim, DVM

Dr. Sylvia Kim earned her bachelor’s degree in animal science at the University of California, Davis. Before attending veterinary school, she worked closely with animals as a veterinary assistant, which further confirmed her love and passion for animals.

Dr. Kim received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her professional interests include surgery, wellness, and behavior. She also has a special interest in zoological companion animal medicine. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the California Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA).

During her free time, Dr. Kim enjoys going to the beach, snowboarding, cooking/baking, and spending time with her family including her dogs Penny and Benji.
