Dr. Joseph Zarin, DVM, DACVIM
Dr. Joseph Zarin grew up in Los Angeles, CA and attended UC Santa Barbara to earn his bachelor’s degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. He attended veterinary school at UC Davis where he earned his doctorate in veterinary medicine. He completed a small animal rotating internship at the University of Georgia, followed by an emergency and critical care specialty internship at Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital. Dr. Zarin then completed a three-year cardiology residency at Angell Animal Medical Center and became a board-certified cardiologist.
Dr. Zarin appreciates all aspects of cardiology and finds particular fulfillment in helping a patient overcome a heart emergency and return home to their family. He also enjoys diagnosing and managing arrhythmias and congenital heart diseases.
